    "keeping his options open"

My boyfriend and I have been together for three years, I am 20 and he is 23, he is my best friend, we have a fantastic sex life and I have always trusted him. But the past few months he has been giving his number out and flirting with his ex as well as girls that I know on the internet. When his ex asked him to go to the club with her he said "you should just come over tonight and dance for me instead". He also tells other women we know how sexy/beautiful,etc. they are and our computer internet history is full of his exes pictures. When I talk to him about it he tries to justify it but ends up just talking in circles. This is killing me, should I be worried?

Yes you should be worried. Why are you letting him get away with this?

He's not getting away with it, we are not on good terms. He tries to justify it by bringing up my male friends but I don't say blatantly sexual things to my friends. I just wanted to make sure I'm not crazy and the only one who thinks I am being unreasonable. But it is hard.

i would be very worried. why would he be giving his number to other girls? It sounds like he is maybe losing interest in the relationship, sorry.

Sound like this guy is having a serious immaturity and commitment problem. My advice: tell him to pack his bags and go sleep at his ex or whatever girl he's picking up today. You deserve better than that. Anyone deserves better than that. Don't let him use you. You should be way above that if you have some self worth.

I don't understand how you are putting up with this. Seriously.

That's straight up disrespectful. Sounds like he wants to be single again, and I think you should let him.

Don't fret, he just wants an open relationship.

But if you don't want that then you should break up with him.

.. If my boyfrined flirted with other girls, was blatantly sexual with them, was obsessing over an ex, and was giving his number out-- he'd be dumped in no time flat.

That's so disrespectful to you and to your relationship-- it sounds like he's done with you.

He is an idiot. But you're a bigger one if you don't dump him for this behavior.
