How do you politely decline a date invitation from a girl you know you are not compatible with, but don't want to make her feel rejected? I've had a few declines from girls that made me want to strangle them and I don't want to be someone who does something like that.

Why don't you just go on the date for practice? Then slip in at some point during the nightly convo that you have severe mommy issues, and can she spank you while you wear a diaper?

I don't think there are many ways to reject someone without making them feel like an asshole. Either they don't get the message, so you have to repeat it, or they get the message and are offended.

Indig, I've already been there and done all that. I know where it all leads to and I know what this girl wants. I know in advance I won't be able to give it to her so there's no point in starting.

i have been in the same situation before, when a guy thinks god knows what of himself. and when i asked him out, i was told, Julie i don't want to hurt your feelings but i don't see us being together. even though becoming a couple wasn't in my plans. sure, i flirt with everyone, does that mean i want you? most likely not. but you will be coming off as a jerk.

I also hang out with girls that I'm not attracted to who don't want anything from me and who have proven to be good friends.
