Look, I'll tone down my language and state it in plain uncondescending terms like we never had a spat.

If you came here, ever so fragile and confused, asking for advice about someone you dumped or dumped you, married or not... possibly with small children or not, and someone didn't weigh their words correctly... what affect would that have on you? To most, they'd take it with a grain of salt. But we're dealing with the internet. Numerous more people read rather than register or write. Some people rely on the internet more than you and I can fathom. It's their only reprieve and source of information.

You're entitled to your opinions and I, mine. But the reply has to suit the post or thread to a T. I can't inject my damage, and have to be on guard for that happening, just as you're expected to offer outwardly sage advice.

Again, we might have different views, but as Ecojeanne mentioned... it's got to be on topic, it's got to be relevant more or less.

Maybe I've busted your chops too much, and for that, I apologize. But I don't want to see anyone walk away with more damage than they walked in with.

Again, it's a responsibility I hold dear to my heart and I defend it as such.
