Anyway, who says it's on a doorstep? It could be the kind of place and moment that's perfect, and she might give you the response that tells you to keep going. If you don't think you do have the signal to go on, then NeoSeminole's advice is really good.

oh - you said WITH the first kiss, which I took to mean "along with". I'd prefer the lips first, and then moving on to my neck if/when the passion increases.

But of course, I would never tell a man that... it would be too forward. haha

I never say anything after a kiss it ruins the moment. I either just go for a comfortable hug or another kiss and the neck if i feel she wants more.
