I'll tell you what creates more stress in a relationship apart from not being sufficiently financially well off. Bitching and moaning about potential financial problems that may come in the future instead of being understanding and fair. I'd put it on a stress ratio 100:1

i think it's fine that you'll be making more then him. my aunt makes more money and works more hours then my uncle, but he cleans and cooks and drives from nj to new york city in the middle of the night to pick her up from work. your guy sounds like a great guy, so please stop thinking that as a man he should be making more, because it might end up causing you to sabotage your own happiness.
