Raising kids is pretty much a full time job. That's my experience after 3 of them.

To be honest, I do think that women entering the workforce (and making significant money) and farming their kids out to daycare has rendered men unnecessary to some extent.

And where exactly will single women get the money for daycare on a single income? Bear in mind, women making a significant amount of money necessary to support even a single child are still a minority.

As far as I can see, the easiest thing for any man is to cross polenate as many women as possible and have the women raise their children on their own. If that's the new ideal for some women, if they no longer want to reward support then that's kinda sad.

So sad when there's a guy who has kids with like 4-5 different women...not caring about any of them...can't stand guys like that..but then again...i sometimes blame women for allowing themselves to get into that situation..

Several experts also said that rising income for women might affect marriage rates if women expect their mates to have at least equivalent salaries and education.
