Would girls consider dating ugly guys?!

I know for guys it is very difficult to date women, they are not sexually attracted to.

are these rules also valid for girls? or girls are more romantic and are attracted more to the kind & nice guys?

it's all subjective, everyone has different tastes. why would you want to date someone you aren't attracted to?

I don't know if I could date someone I found to be ugly, but i have a high tolerance for imperfection. In fact, perfection looks a little boring.

and i agree with sonrisa - I want to be the pretty one. hah

    I agree with Vash.

Everyone has their own idea of attractive, and their own level of tolerance for imperfection. I'm actually not attracted to men that are too 'pretty' because they look fake to me. Imperfections add the cuteness factor.

I dated someone for over 2 years who nobody found attractive except myself. We were friends first, and I didn't find him very attractive until I somehow grew feelings for him and fell in love. Then he became extremely handsome to me, but nobody else could see it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Or maybe love is blind. Ha.

i have a friend who is not the best looking guy and is in a relationship with his gf for over 5 years now. she looks more as if she can get a better looking guy. it's either his personality or some kind of malevolent force of nature with no explanation on why she is attracted to him. lol. every girl has different taste, you gotta know that for sure. so of course, there are girls who will be attracted to ugly guys (and vice versa). i also have heard in my psychology of human sexuality class, that some girls enjoy dating/keeping a relationship with ugly guys cause they know that they won't cheat(which i think is kind of messed up but true).

That is easy, date any guy. Guys can't be cute...it is kind of against nature. Men in general are ugly and hairy.

Yes, these rules are invalid for women because they also take into account things men wouldn't even give two shits about such as status and money. Power and confidence(however they always get this wrong and go for cocky and not confident)

    Yeah, guys can't wear makeup.
I will do my best to reply with an educated, humble and honest answer. Ultimately, it is up to you whether you want to listen to my advice or ignore it completely. Sometimes, my advice may be wrong; occasionally, it will be right. Regardless, I want to do my best to give people answers they are seeking.

Is the guy's body important to women?

for guys, it is very important for them that the girl has a nice body.
I know that some guys would say, they care more about personality, but it is not true, Guys care first about the beauty & body then personality.

Is that valid for the girls too?

Is a fat guy (I am not by the way!) a turn off for girls?

or do girls care more about personality than the body thing?

In my experience girls care more about personalities than looks. It doesn't matter how good you look, if you don't know how to press those buttons you won't be going anywhere with a girl.

    Mish is right.

I'd date an overweight or extremely skinny guy if he was funny and goodhearted and intelligent.

I would not date a ripped guy who was full of himself and dimwitted and boring.

Personality wins, pretty much always. That's why I find it so amusing when guys go and spend hours at the gym trying to get buff to impress girls. A nice body will attract a certain type of girl, if that's the thing she looks for first....you can pretty much guarantee she's going to be shallow.

for me, personally, PERSONALLY, i think guys tend to 'look' at girls bod more. exectly like what you have stated.

i dont really care about boy's bod but i do like skinny boys. its not that such of a big deal if someone whom i like is a little round. i care more about his personality and brains.
