Does it matter, Cam? Just don't go there. If you think affairs are immoral don't even give the impression you are okay with going there. Affairs take two.
Assume friendship. If/when you get signals otherwise, insist on it. If it gets uncomfortable, end the friendship.Second thoughts can generally be amended with judicious action; injudicious actions can seldom be recovered with second thoughts.

I've had at least two married women give me those sings in the last couple of months. I just stayed friends, joked and had fun with them like friends do. You don't need to cross any boundaries, just keep it on the level and there wont be an affair.

married chick from work tried to get something started when I first started at the firm. I met her husband on the weekend. We were down at the snow. Best bloke ever. We were out and this chick came up to him, and he brushed her. I complimented him in his loyalty, and he said, "mate it's easy when you have someone lile [girl from work].'' So glad I don't have that on my consience. Wouldn't have been able to look him in the eye.

God knows why she would. I'm just an average Joe. There's eager dick galore in every bar in town, if that's what she looking for.
I don't know what I want. There are at least two other possible situations out there at the moment. One I might see next week for lunch (just emailed, never met)--live in town and is single several years younger than me. The other lives 11 time zones from my house and is just a few years younger than me. The one I like is the one 11 time zones from me--have met and totally hit it off with her.
Married Chick: a sin, unrealistic, yes--I want the sex, yes--I would hate myself for it.
Unmarried in Town: realistic, but haven't met yet (just email)
Unmarried in Town: unrealistic but would willingly wait six months to see if the unlikely happened and we saw each other again (currently, just email)
None of the Above: very realistic, yes--I would want sex, no--I wouldn't get it, yes--I'd hate myself for it.
