Hey i met an awesome girl 2 weeks ago and it was like love from the time we met. Easy to talk to eachother and we both have that feeling inside, the good feeling She left yesterday to the burning man festival and it was like a last minute thing. She is gone for 12 days at this event and all i hear is it is a orgy fest, if you know what i mean. Does anybody know anything about this burning man thing?? All thats on my mind right now is she is at this huge F___fest, excuse my language and i dont want to be with someone that does these things. What is burning man?? Help me

I know folks who go to this every year. It sounds like crazy fun. When I first heard of it, I thought it was some kind of weird cult/hippie/pagan event. Maybe that's b/c the gal who first told me about it was kinda 'out there'. LOL.

Soon, tho, it will become trendy and hip to do, like everything else posted on the internet.

burning man is an artfest. think hippie, clothing optional kinda place. i've never been, nor do i really have the interest, but a friend went. one experience he shared that may sum it up is that he was walking around, and a couple were walking in front of him. then the woman just got down on her knees and started s**king him until he came. people just watched. when he was finished, she got up and they started walking again.

very free spirit, clothing optional, artsy fartsy, drink 'til you can't kinda thing.

i've never been there, but i know that it is in hot desert with no trees. when it rains it floods and gets all muddy. and then the wind storms come and blast you with smoldering dirt.

sounds like a lot of not fun to me.

My husband went for three years in a row, and yes, it is a total ****fest. The art is awesome and the Man is a cool concept (inspired, I believe, by the burning of Zozobra, which happens here in MY little hometown), but the drugs and random hookups are the draw for lots of people.

What Indi predicted has already occurred: it has become very mainstream. Get this: my 69-year-old father-in-law is going this year with some camping buddies. Maybe one of them will pork your new girl. Maybe all of them.

When I checked out their website & saw they have a legal page re: filming rules and lists of rules, I laughed. Rather ironic.

The whole things sounds a bit eetee to me.
