All the way to the end, Doppelgaenger, and if my lawyer lets me write my will the way I want it, far beyond the grave.

I don't know where all this shit comes from. I live in the same city as you Mish, and I've dated a heap of great girls. Sure some idiots as well, but what do you expect?? I actually have no idea what you're going on about.

CB attracts great girls because he loves women, and that is hot.

chump = i wrongly assumed you were in mish's age range (mid-late 20s). I believe it when you say the available women in the 35+ who are palatable are reduced in numbers because many of them have been married off. However, this is very true of the men in that age range, too.

Not true. I can offer all three, but there's no interest ou there. Know why? Because like all human beings, women are comparison shoppers. If all guys can offer these things, then they become "minimum standards." So, other things become the deciding factors. It's a market-place and women respond to market-forces just as much (if not more so) than men. Remember, the term "economics" originally referred to the relationship the monetary relationship between the home and the outside world...and guess who has always been in charge of that??

Come on, C & everyone else. Relax, grab a glass of wine (I'm drinking my ersatz 'BC' wine--read the news about this! Rotten bastards, LOL.) and check out Jon Stewart or a TED talk on youtube. I like this site to prescreen my selections here:

Actually, check out That Mitchell and Webb vid clips--hilarious!!!

And, I'll either do the wine or perhaps scotch or whiskey with just a dash of water.

    Do you think so?

I agree. I've wasted too much time thinking about social life and should return to work. Work always pays off. Social life never has paid off. I should accept that and just move on.

No man is an island, Cam. I think you just need to lay off the romantic expectations. Social connections, even with work, are very valuable, tho I don't think that's what you meant.

Mitchell & Webb is new to me. I guess we have missed a few good things w/o television. I can't let myself get sucked in just yet today, but I just watched this one & it made me LOL (chippy little autodidact!):

I don't know if I've ever seen Charlieboy.

I've just assumed he's a green dragon at this point.
