    ^^^lol so true,

cam btw you mentioned that you don't tend to make the approach but now feel that you are older that you may have to. women like a decisive, aggressive (sorry folks it's true) man. get more into it rather than expecting the 'right' girl to just come along

So how come you're not with them eh?

I've met lots of great girls as well, but the greatness wore thin.

I did exaggerate a bit though. I've been with some decent women as well as some shitty ones.

You are right, I should just let it a go for a bit more. Seriously. I'm at my best when I'm aloof. At work--yes, I seemed to have developed a large mass of social connections and in the broader community, too.

Glad that you liked Mitchell & Webb--I didn't see them on tv--just youtube. I'm not much of a tv watcher--just a few minutes a day, the news.

    Another good clip:

Okay, I admit that made me both laugh AND cringe.

That used to be my attitude...when I viewed relationships in the same way as I viewed toilet paper...necessary but disposable.

I did have more "success" when I had that attitude....

Of course you did... that's the "bad ass" attitude, and will score you plenty.

I'm not sure charlieboy meant it that way, cam. He seems to have been able to maintain a balance between fully enjoying women and not treating them like toilet paper. I believe he was simply observing an objective truth - and not making a lifestyle endorsement.

Exactly, it's not an attitude, it's a fact. Romantic relationships are temporary, with very few exceptions. That's why I hate when people talk about ''failed'' relationships. It's akin to moaning about a ''failed'' pet, because it died, and forgetting about the years of enjoyment and pleasure you got out of it.

I remember seeing your ex girlfriend.

    I don't remember seeing you.

Probably because I was more interested in seeing your ex girlfriend.
