How do you spot when your being strung along?

I think I have been strung along on and off for the past eight months by my ex gf. It didn't always appear that way and at times she appeared genuinely confused whether to choose me or her current bf. She wants to stay friends now which IME would probably be FWB.

Are there clear signs of being strung along or is it more the case of you know when someone is CLEARLY interested in you and only you?

Are your friends telling you she's evil? That's a sure sign. Your own intuition is a good one too.

I'm of the general opinion that a woman that spends that much time vacillating between two men should probably be with neither.

Having said that, if there were a textbook example of an ex stringing someone along, yours would be it.

The clear but sign that she isn't stringing you along is... she would do anything for you... which includes leaving her current partner.

And I agree 100% with Chup.

If she can't decide the answer for her is neither. I know this from personal experience.
