Hello,
Welcome to loveforum.
I know of a guy swim across singapore river over to the other end where his gf & friends are waiting for him..
The guy make it though he look ultra exhausted after the swim. He kneel down and propose her on the spot with a diamond ring.
Very touching. I think the guy did more than what most other guys do.. truly give out all he can for this very moment.

I have one:
My ex secretly arranged a trip to Paris for me. He even called my boss and arranged secretly for me to have time off from work. Then he took me out for beignets for breakfast and asked if I would like to try them tomorrow in Paris. I had a few hours to pack and we flew to Paris. The first night, he took me on the Bateau Mouches and got down on one knee and proposed. He gave me an absolutely flawless diamond ring. Then we spent 3 more days exploring the city.
Sadly, the most romantic proposal and the most perfect wedding and the most awesome trappings of a life cannot compensate if there's nothing real beneath all those trappings and gestures. Oh well. Still, it's not a bad story, and would work if the love was there too.
