Girl friend swears she loves me.

So, I'm trying to wrap my mind around this question. I've been with this women for 6 years. In the last year, we broke up and subsequently have gotten back together. While we were apart,, she did go with another guy, and harmless they did kiss. He wanted more but she didn't want that. After a few days she did send him an email about how she liked him, but it would never work out because he was married. Wind the clock forward, we get back together, I love her greatly but in the past 2 weeks he emailed her,, wanting to meet with her for what she didn't give when they first kissed. Through several emails she keeps saying no,, but in the emails she also says how "hard she fell for him, in the year prior, while her and I were together. She also tells this guy how nice he is and how she just can't see anything wrong with him, but no she doesn't want to meet with him.

Thoughts, is she being just a "nice women" not wanting to hurt the other,, or do you think there is more to this? Thoughts as to what I should do?

sorry, she told me he was emailing her.. and she read me parts of her emails over the phone. He was quite blunt in what he was looking from her.

She has some feelings for that guy. I would make sure that she gets them worked out before I decided to go any further with her.
