I mention experts on here specifically because thru their advice and activity here they must have a pretty good idea on the est. % of relationships (long term, marriages, living together) that end up separated for good or divorced even after making an effort of working things out during a first separation and getting back together for a second try...

There are two dilemmas... that rattle the human skull. How do you hold onto someone who won't stay? And how do you get rid of someone who won't go?

I don't know about statistics, but I always consider separation (meaning phsyically separating) is the first step towards divorce.

How about you tell us the problems that caused the breakup so we can better assess the situation.
You'll be able to get much more out of that than a statistical analysis.

If you're going to break up, be a man about it. Don't beat around the bush, just be honest. Making up excuses and throwing out statistics is a sure fire way for the past to bite you in the ass.

"breaks" and "seperation" is the first step to break ups permanently.
if you want to fix, or work on your relationship you do so IN said relationship.
So yes, I agree with Vasti.
