actually we did go to a buffet on the last day. we went to the one in the mirage called scarvings. it wasn't too bad. everything was divided up by ethnicities, which made it easier to chooose from. the asian area wasn't all that great, but since there were many options to choose from, it made it great.

This reinforces what I wrote to you in your other thread. Change the crowd = change the habits. Hang around with more nomas' and you'll kick the habit fast (if that's your aim) :-)

That's only 170grams....doesn't seem like alot of steak. You're drowning your steak in red wine.
Since we're on the subjection of addiction, do you gamble? Practically all Asians I know love gambling. The way you love your red wine is how I feel about majong. I sat 7hrs the other night till I was falling asleep over the tiles, but kept going cause I was down $68 and someone across me was hording all my chips. I hate losing but it's so addictive. You can bet on just about anything including a spoonful of rice. What's the odds of getting an even number of rice grains.....
BTW, switch to metric so the rest of the world can understand you.

i'm not really a big gambler. this past trip to vegas, i lost 500 and that's the most that i ever lost at gambling. the thought of giving away my money to the casinoes doesn't really sit well with my chinese side.

and yes, 170 grams of steak isn't a whole lot of meat as compared with the two bottles that i love to drink. but then again, i am an alcoholic.
