Men want something that is more or less unrealistic long term. A healthy strong looking mate is NOT model skinny. (Which is what I talk about here).

For example: they say curves are the sign of a "healthy" mate because curvy women have less complications during birth.

And yes I believe that being attracted to people isn't superficial, it becomes superficial when I look at what *most* men find appealing; simply becuase it is unrealistic.

Why else do we have weight loss, titty growing, wrinkle hiding pills and creams? It ain't so that we desire to be desired by ourselves...

Talking of instinct, what kind of female are we describing here because it seems to be focused on the young bimbo kind. What about the motherly kind who works hard and cares for her family? I wouldn't think that a true mother would be superficial, but in fact is one of the most self-less kind of person out there.

Does nature's programming/instinct include the desire of Women> boob jobs and Men> penis enlargement (or whatever other strange self altering strange curiosities out there).
Pleasure itself is superficial and you can't deny that a lot of men (yes yes, some women are too) are pretty pleasure orientated.

not really. There's a huge difference between women who are attracted to wealthy men and women that spend money on frivolous things. The majority of females like to waste money on cosmetics, perfume, fashion, accessories, etc. I fail to see what any of those have to do with providing for a family.
