volunteering

This girl I like wants to add some volunteering into her schedule. I want to come up with something that her and I could do together like one day a week. I think she'd love it. Anybody ever done anything like this/have any general ideas?

Hi, and yes there is a place you are very needed and it doesn't take any skills but just liking people. Every town has a home for the elderly, A lot of these people don't have families , or friends. It would mean so much to them if you two could go down once a week and just set and talk to them. You may even learn something about yourself doing it. When I travel I take my guitar and just stop in and relax and play a while.
But whatever you deside to do I think you will enjoy it.

Ew, I hate old people.

Look up Habitat for Humanity, but they can be a bitch to get scheduled to work with.

Other "easy" things if you don't like old people is food banks, or maybe there's a nature conservancy or park you can volunteer to clean.

Churches often have volunteer events.
