Indi, bodybuilding is a very unique sub-culture. I don't know if you've ever been around it or a part of it...maybe so.

Neo's pics are no different than a normal person who's not a part of that culture wearing a cute outfit, taking a pic and showing it. I'm sure he thinks nothing of it...

@Indi: No it's just my way of not responding but not saying too much of anything at all.

@RSK: that is not what I was saying at all. I said exactly what I meant... that people shouldn't mistreat someone because of stereotypes. THAT'S IT AND THAT'S ALL.

@PP: Or maybe your not pretty?? Yeah right. You are adorable Butterfly!

My POV on the subject is this: to share a pic requires a certain level of trust. For me, its not enough that someone ask. I have to have a sense of their discretion, which I know a few here have. The rest are a big ? or I'm just not interested in satisfying their curiosity.

There are less than a handful here who would recognize me IRL (but there are those few). I like it that way. They know I do so its all good.

Fact is, Primo, even a pic sent 'in private' can be made public very easily. Those electrongs like to reproduce virally.

    Nice.

    A very respectable trade.

    Like I said, I wouldn't do it.

Welders are exposed to burns, cuts, arc flashes, electrocution, asphyxiation, extreme heights, deafening sounds, and confined spaces on a fairly regular basis.

A welder fixed the trunk of my old car because I had way too many speakers beating on it ... Are you still at the port, raver?

    Yes and no.

Of course any work where the proper precautions aren't taken. Turning the power off, or if it can't be turned off, wearing the proper personal protective equipment, using proper tools, and taking care will prevent most of the accident that kill electricians.

For me, doing commercial work, I'm rarely exposed to live circuits for the large majority of work. My most prevalent hazards are falls from ladders, and cuts, I suppose. I've worked in the panels occasionally, even though, technically as an apprentice I'm not supposed to. I've gotten criticism for this on another forum, but sometimes you do what you gotta do. If I didn't know what I was doing, I wouldn't do it.

Anyway, in my point of view, welders, especially commercial and industrial welders are easily more exposed to extreme hazards than most electricians.

Kudos to the lineman that climb the service polls. That's another one you gotta respect.
