    How much would you charge...

To cook a full Thanksgiving Dinner for a family?
They will buy the main items, like the turkey, etc.

I'm having trouble coming up with a price to charge.

you're charging your family to come over and eat the dinner you're going to cook for them?!

wait, or are you like being a family's "chef" and you're charging your time/ efforts?

Oh lol, whew... For a second my mouth dropped

I would charge 100 bucks 10/hr. Keep in mind though once prep is done, there's a lot of waiting and not doing much.

Just figure out roughly how many hours it will take total from the two of you, then multiply by what you think is a fair hourly wage.

@MVP I am asking because I don't know what a fair price would be. That's why I'm asking for input.

    Yeah, that's generally my price.

    I'll cook if you buy.

The lady is supposed to write up the menu she would like.
I guess I should factor in how many dishes we will be making. :/

I'd charge at least a couple of hundred bucks just for making someone else do a "job" that's supposed to be a family thing. Cook their meals and stash something extra for yourselves ...

i wouldn't even bother.. i'd rather waste my time drinking of my day off. however, being that this will take an entire day and there is the two of you, i would charge something reasonable like 200 for the both of you.

when you look at it from their side, i'm sure that they aren't expecting to pay anything over 300 or they might as well just order something from a take out restaurant for about the same price.
