well i actually saw the movie, and what fullofsighs is saying is that he heard from other people that it was good, which is here-say.

if fullofsighs had seen the movie and said it was good, then his opinion would be valid. but it's not. go see the movie, and judge it for yourself. this is my review and i happened to not like it, which is my opinion.

i'm not saying it wasn't popular, or that other people didn't like it. i'm saying i didn't.

    okay?

I'm waiting for Sherlock Holmes to come out. I loved RDJ in Iron Man. I hear there's going to be a sequel to that, BTW.

Ugh. I can't believe they're making a Sherlock Holmes film for the masses. Pisses me off. No way in hell am I going to see that drivel.

Did we watch the same trailer? If you're going to make some absurd Victorian era action/comedy why bother incorporating Sherlock Holmes? Invent a few moronic bit characters, prance them about in costumes, blow things up, flash some skin and call it a day--just like every other shitty movie to come out in the last decade.
