should I finish the work with him?

That friend who is best friend and in murky area of love position..
he told me he doesn't love me so we stayed as best friend but then we had a big big fight and decided not to make any contact with each other.
I was making him a website for free so I told him I will finish it (I'm a web designer)
but now the thing became too much because I feel he is just using me..
I told him I might be late on the website because I'm having a surgery and he didnt even comment on the surgery he just said "no problem, just please finish the website as soon as possible"

So what? tell him go to hell?

Sorry that you're in such a position. I would say that you do need to stand up for yourself. Remind him that you're doing him a favour and that you expect to be appreciated and respected.

I think we've all been in the position of having unfinished business at the end of a relationship. Personally I like to tie up all loose ends, and walk away from a relationship clean. So if it was me I'd finish the site, and then have nothing more to do with him.
