Why are men aroused by women's bodies?

Is knowing her necessary for him to be aroused? Does he have to have feelings for her for this to happen? Or do men in general get aroused simply because it is a part of their biological makeup? I've read somewhere that men are aroused by certain body parts on a woman... but I find it hard to believe that this could be so generalized. He has to like her first before he can be aroused, right?? As a woman, I have to like a guy first before he can arouse me... so is this not true for men too?

Also, how do you know he is aroused? (besides the obvious).

I'm trying to figure out if you're serious. Assuming you are: No, men do not need feelings for a woman to be sexually attracted to her. Men are aroused by certain body parts. There are "boob men", "ass men", "leg men", etc. Guys that are generally attracted to a certain part of a woman's body. Personally I'm an ass + leg man myself.

By evolution we are programmed to reproduce. An attraction to the opposite sex therefore could come in handy If men were not attracted to women and vice versa then our species would not have come this far.

Every animal is attracted to the opposite sex. It's in it's nature. Purely for survival purposes. But because we evolved into beings who can process thoughts better (rather than just humping by instinct) this attraction manifests itself in different ways per person. Such as shheadz said: some men are "ass men" or "leg men". I'm sure the same goes for women

Men don't think like women, you're trying to apply standard woman logic to the behaviors of a man. That's a big mistake. Women have more difficulty separating relationship from sex. In many cases, they go hand in hand in their minds, especially if they don't use any birth control.

Most men can separate sex from long term relationship if they choose to. What they want from a long term partner can greatly differ from what they want from a cum dumpster. And if you look at promiscuous women you'll see similarities.

Oh c'mon Coco. I was raised by a single mother with almost no male influences, and by the time I was 12 I was jerking off to JC Penny catalogs. Clearly being aroused by women without knowing thing one about them is a behavior men are born with.

You don't speak for the entire female species. Some women, who are surely lower on the totem pole than you, can get aroused by the male physique.

I don't believe most men need to know a woman in order to be aroused. I don't think most women need to know a man in order to be aroused either. I think it just depends on the person.

I've met men that I wanted to jump and I didn't even know their name. I fight the impulse, but it definitely there.

Also, it has nothing to do with being on a "lower totem pole". It's a simple as a difference in personality.
