An issue with getting out and meeting potential partners.

OK, I'm running into an annoying problem when it comes to seeking out potential dates: Not how. Or when. Or especially why. But WHERE?? I mean honestly, I'm not sure where I should be going. It's been months now of me trying meetups and the *very* occasional bar outing, yet all I've gotten in the last few months have been two girls that didn't last more than a few dates.

So what if I get rejected a few times more; that's just part of the game. But where do singles go to meet up that I am clearly missing??

Just keep livin. Don't be the cheesy desperate guy in the bars, not saying you do that now or anything but are there co-workers or friends who have single friends they can introduce you to? Not like beg to be set up with but let them know you are single and looking. Join a co-ed volleyball team or co-ed dodgeball or join some sort of church group. Maybe get a part time job. Do volunteer work. Join a gym. If nothing else you'll meet new friend and in turn meet people through them.
So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
    blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
    A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
    Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
    Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?

I talk to women whenever I do my day to day. Means at the gym, the grocery store, Best Buy, out for a run, the DMV, a Bar if I'm out, concerts, it really doesn't matter. Just talk to women when you go out and it'll become more natural. Eventually you'll hit it off with one and go out and see what happens. Don't stress it to much!

Oh yeah, I think its fun. I used to be on a co-ed flag football team on Sunday afternoons. It was so fun to get out and run around outside then go have drinks with people. Great way to make new connections.

Anywhere anytime - Doesn't matter how old they are, or if I'd actually want to date them. The idea is to just talk to women so that you accidentally end up talking to one you WOULD like to see more of, and you don't become an awkward fumbling mess and can act like a normal person. This will relay confidence to her and you'll be off to a better start.

Cool. What about kickball, is that pretty popular as well?

Sure, any of those old elementary school gym class games are fun. Do something YOU like though.

Which is why I brought up kickball.

Dodgeball and volleyball, I'd probably have to brush up on my skill set to feel comfortable playing with anyone other than complete rookies. But kickball, nah, I can do that!

OK, but I do have one question about dodgeball/kickball.

    The gender ratio.

I played ultimate fairly regularly a couple years ago, and it was easily 5:1 men:women.

With all due respect to female gamers, any higher than that and I might as well attend a D&D meetup.

Don't you have female friends? Go to parties and school reunions and the like. Be friendly to all the girls you know. Even if you don't like them, they probably have hot friends.
