I am not a super huge fan of it, at least not for a long time period. That position allows for deeper penetration than some other positions, and some guys seem to find it very enjoyable, maybe because of the penetration level. I love this position when 'just ****ing' its not great for sensual, personal sex, but its great when I just wanna get nailed, its probably the easiest position for me to come in, as i come better through penetration and this position gets him really deep inside me and really hits the spot that most other positions dont quite reach.

Doggie is a pretty nasty term, but it's one that everybody knows. Most other terms are too generic. I think that "spoon ", position would be a good name for it.
