No, not usually. Maybe very briefly, if the woman is truly uninterested in getting emotionally involved, but much more often someone gets attached, usually the woman, then things get complicated, then someone gets hurt.

Yes. definitely!! If both parties are mature and expect nothing else, FWB relationships are the way to go, until you are ready to commit.

Could be a safe way to get to know each other with no pressure or expectations...
But both parties need respect. Example:
You're a guy. You sleep with your FWB partner. Please spend the night and have breakfast together. You don't need to just ****, be all of a sudden grumpy and make up an excuse so that you can run away for fear of intimacy....
Cos otherwise it's just a ****ing buddy and the part where you're friends is out of the window...
