Have you guys been to a strip club after your break up?

I never goto strip clubs just because of a stubburn principle of mine that strip clubs are for desperate people and im not about to pay for any physical or sexual activity because i can get it for free from my (ex) girlfriend at the time
It has been 2 months since my ex broke up with me and since then my friends are pushing me to go to a stirp club, they say that it would help me to get over her, especially if i will get a lap dance.
I really dont like the place for the reason that i mentioned and because of all of the old desperate people who go there and sit next to the stage and just drill at the strippers.
As i said it has been 2 months since she broke up with me and since then i did not have any phsyical contact with any girls, mostly because of the "grieving stages".
So what do u think falks, I dont really want to go, but if in a way it would make me to divert my attention away from my ex and in away will help me to move on, im willing to do it...as they say desperate times call desperate measures

Hey...after break up some people get addicted to Alcohol... and drink excessively...I dont like alcohol either...
so perhaps it would be better to get addicted to strip clubs and lap dances rather than alcohol and drugs
what do you think? they both cost roughly the same

Nothing wrong with hitting up a strip club now and again but you shouldn't be so hell bent on picking up new sleezy (strip club troll) or destructive (alcholic) habits. You are so giving your ex all the power here. Do something good for yourself. Do what will make YOU happy.

i dont want to give her any credit which means that i dont want her to think that because of her
i stoped drinking or doing some self destructive bevahour...i think it works this way..

Blackey, you give power to your ex if you let her influence your behavior even after a breakup. Do something that makes you happy, even if it's the sleazy thrill of looking at naked women. Heck, spend some extra money and spend some quality time with a nice-looking escort. Nothing helps me get over a breakup faster than getting laid.

I could insert a joke about how I'm a bleeding heart and that supporting single mothers is a virtue, but I won't go there.

Nevertheless, my personal experience dictates that going through the motions of physical intimacy with someone rarely fills the emotional/mental good left behind when you suddenly find yourself alone. A situation that is less than that (the "look but don't touch" of a gentleman's club) seems more like a form of self-torture in that regard. Better to spend the money you would otherwise be inserting into a performing lady's thong in $1 and $5 increments towards some sort of self improvement - perhaps a gym membership or new sartorial style. I get the feeling that attracting higher quality women and building self-confidence can be achieved a little bit more easily using the latter method to forget the ex.

I never willingly set out for those destinations but I've been dragged to a handful in various locales.

The hot ones usually end up on my lap and I feel strangely aroused yet uninterested while they try and try again to explain to me in their language that not a cent need pass between as they just want to bag my ethnic origin on their notched belt.

(Whether true or not, I wouldn't know.... trust is earnt, not sourced in a third world dive because of the colour of your skin.)
