Yikes! That's ****ED! Have you told your doctor?

I hate pills!! But if you're going to continue some kind of pill or shot you should use a condom too.. for disease issues too.

I agree that condoms are far from ideal if you aren't on hormonal birth control. Adding to loveisbitrsweet's post, using two at the same time also reduces the effectiveness dramatically due to the extra friction which can cause one or both of them to tear.

I would sooner shoot myself in the foot rather than have a partner implanted with a five-year supply of hormonal birth control, with none of that concern relating to the very minor surgery involved.

The Depo Provera shot may be more convenient, though I have heard too many horror stories to be comfortable about a future partner being injected with that type of drug. While the pill may be slightly more of an inconvenience, it's really no different than remembering to brush your teeth twice a day.
That is actually not correct, the pill is less effective than the shot, I am a woman and have seen my OBGYN plenty, have had books and lots of info from her and other people about birth control. The pill is around 97% effective, the depo shot is 99.someodd% effective. Not only did my mother get pregnant on the pill, but so has my ex bfs babies mother (hence babie's mother lol)..and yes antibiotics decrease birth control effectivness as well. some girls gain weight on the shot, others will lose weight, and some stay the same. it never effected my weight but I did lose my period and still havnet gotten it yet, Ive spotted twice in the passed year but I havent had the shot in about that time as well.

It depends on which pill you've chosen and which study results you're reading. Overall I agree, pills can range between 97% effectiveness to 99.8% effectiveness.
