How many relationships have you had?

Okay, so i was on here before christmas when i first ended things with my ex. Its been hard getting over her, and im still not completely. I'm just wondering how many relationships you guys have been in and how many it took before you find someone really great. I'm a sophomore in college, in boston, and i just feel like every girl i meet is a huge sl*t. I'm just kinda worried that i wont find anything better than i had. Any feedback would be great. Thanks

Do you think all girls are sluts? Of course not. 1) you're looking in all the wrong places if you find only hoe bags. 2) you're not over your ex so you're in no position to be dating others.

College girls like to fool around?! Shocked!

You're still young, there's no telling how long of how many relationships it's going to take to find the right one. How long it took any of us is immaterial to your situation.
Keep your love life off Facebook, don't cheat, it's never too soon to make a move on a woman you like.

Not necessarily...He is looking for someone to have a relationship with. I agree you should have some fun but like my dad told me "there are girls you bring home to your mother and there are girls you never tell your mother about"...most guys wanta girl they can bring home to mom but when their mom isn't around they act like those other girls.

And to answer your question about how many relationships it takes to find the right one...there isn't a right answer...some people get it on the first one and some people never do...don't worry about it...Honestly I still haven't found that woman to spend the rest of my life with....But I'm telling you that a lot will change between now and the time you graduate and there after in terms of either grad school or starting your career...ya never know about moving...so don't stop looking but keep in mind that chances are you will find yourself in different places in the next 2-4 years.

Amidst all of my college craziness, I started fooling around with a girl and she decided she wanted to take it slow and we didn't have sex for about a month or so of knowing her. This was of course after alot of drinking and going home together. She became my girlfriend. She became the reason why I am on this site, and now have my first true love. I was a **** up and she dumped my ass but I think it says alot if you are willing to take things slow. The right ones are out there.

Even some sluts will sleep around and find somebody they love. It's not an exact science.
Waking up next to a beautiful girl,

I've traveled all over the world-been to every continent except Antarctica, and here's the best advice I've ever found. This advice is unisexual-it goes for guys as well as girls. Don't go out looking for your soulmate, your forever partner, your endless love, whatever you want to call it. That's a tall order, and can be very hard to find. Instead go out and try to find someone who's really nice to have coffee & conversation with. Just coffee-no pressure, no expectations. Someone who's fun to go to the movies with. Someone who makes you laugh. These are not impossible goals, and there are people all around us all the time, & lots of opportunities every day. You do this-and most importantly, have fun doing this-and you will find who you're looking for. Give it a shot-it works. I am 43 years old, have been married twice, and have been lucky enough to have been in nine serious relationships. I'm still in the last one, and have good memories of all of them, & wish them all well. I'm still friends with & talk with all of them, and am a better person for having had them as a part of my life.

In grade school I had about 2 'girlfriends', only kissed a few times.

In junior high I had one serious girl friend I went out with for 8 months, and also a couple crushes that I never really went out with, but kind of best friends/benefits at times cus we liked eachother but were young.

Highschool I had 2 girlfriends. Same girl I dated in junior high for 8 months(we split but got back together) - this time we stayed together a few months, not as long as the last time. And another girl for a few months.

NEVER HAD SEX WITH ANY of the above girls. I know, I dated her 8 months. I was the type of person who wanted to find a single person to have sex with, and not waste my sex on random people I wasn't going to be with forever.

Then College. My freshman year I had some problems(got arrested for pot). Not a huge deal, but I withdrew from my 2nd semester, didn't have a GF that first year.

I went back the 2nd year(which I call my freshman year again cus the last didn't really count). The first week of this year of school I met my current Fiance. Met her at a party and we started hanging out. She actually got with my friend for about a week, they didn't last at all. I wasn't looking for sloppy 2nds, but I was attracted to this girl too. We stayed friends for 2 months. Then, at about 2 months, I started eating her out almost nightly (didn't want to have sex yet, like I said, only wanted to have sex with girl I knew I wanted to be with forever). Then about a month after that we had sex. And we have been together for 6 years, getting married in July.

Yeah this is definitely bang on advice here. I used to put a lot of pressure on myself when i was younger (surprise..) but that didn't get me very far. I had some bad luck with some girls i was interested in and that just dragged me down because of that mindset. I took a year to change my mentality, pretty much to exactly what is described above and I have seen a lot of benefits. Even while I didn't have a specific interest in a girl, I just felt a lot happier and mellow. And just recently I met a very nice girl at a party through some mutual friends, and all seems to be going well so far. Definitely the best thing that has happened to me in the last few years has been that change of mind.
