My ****ed up dream from last night...

I don't know if this should go in here, but I'm doing it anyways, because I feel like doing it.

Ok, so last night I stayed up later than usual working on my network.. Then I watch asome porn for about 30 minutes, then I finally go to bed around 1:30am. Ok, so I am dog tired and I kinda just fell onto my bed and grabbed my pillow (i have three pillows - 2 of them are stacked that I rest my head on, and one I hold in place of where my ex always was) and fell asleep almost instantly. I wake up about 3:30am because my son is coughing up a storm , so I get up to check on him and then cover him up. I then fell back into my bed and grabbed the pillow and this time i dont remember falling asleep.

I was instantly in another world, kinda like a bad acid trip or something. Then things started to normal out, and I couldn't tell I was dreaming.. After awhile of walking around town doing my usual things I realized I was supposed to be chasing a bad guy. And here is the kicker: The bad guy is Freddie Krooger (i cant spell his name, but he is on the movie Friday the 13th).

So I'm going around town fighting this guy everytime I meet him. This goes on for quite awhile until finally I meet this woman at a Starbucks while I'm getting coffee (I love coffee so much i even dream about it - how funny). We did some small talk and stuff then she left the store before I did. When I went outside I noticed Freddie sitting behind a bush waiting for her to come closer to him, so I went up to her and slapped her on the ass to get her attention so she didnt go closer to him. Since this was a dream world of mine, she didn't get upset about this and kinda liked it. I ended up walking her around town a bit as we talked and next thing I know she trns into Elena. Elena is the girl I've liked for quite awhile, but I have 0% chance of being with her. In my dream I didnt freak out about her changing into Elena because it was like it was Elena the whole time.. I cant explain it. its weird..

Anyways.. We end up going to yet ANOTHER Starbucks. So as we are standing in line talking and waiting for our coffee and I start to hold her. My arms are wrapped around her waist like I always do in real life. But this time she lays her head back against my chest to show she is enjoying it. And I started gently rub her hair with my face and whisper into her ear. And all of a sudden she just turns around and kisses me. Just a peck. But I was stunned by it. She didnt say a word and we just looked into each others eyes... Then I went in for another kiss and we just stood there in the Starbucks line kissing passionatly for a good 3 minutes as if I had just gotten back from a long trip and she was waiting for me... Then my alarm clock starts beeping loudly and my dream world faded quickly as I opened my eys and I am laying in my dark room holding my pillow tightly to my chest...

This is the first dream that I've had for almost an entire year. And it was a ****ed up dream, but yet a good dream. Why the **** was I chasing Freddie ?! I loved that fact that Elena was in my dreams, but at the same time I dont. I can't be dreaming of her. I can't be falling for her. She isn't ready for a relationship and I know that. I can't fall for her. It will ruin everything.

But that is why I decided to put this thread in here - it ends with a great kiss. hehe

**But on a lighter note: Elena isn't ready for a relationship because she just got out of one about 2 months ago that was just as strong, if not stronger than the one I got out of 8 months ago. So I know where she is at. Or at least I think I do. But the good news is that we haved talked about the future... And when I get my own place, she wants to move in with me if we are still as close as we are now. Not much was said on that subject, but it was said.

Anyways.. i dont know why i just said that last part... What a ****ed up dream, huh ?!?! lol

This is the first dream that I've had for almost an entire year.
That makes me sad. I dream EVERY NIGHT. If it's a good/really fun dream, I make sure to remember it. I couldn't fathom not having a dream.

For the record, ALL my dreams are ****ed up. As in nowhere rooted in reality. They span from hangliding over lakes of lava while trying to rescue a princess tied up on a pirate ship to riding King Kong's magic surfboard that he got for his birthday to gunning down lifesize army ants in a maze of water tunnels to rowing as fast as I can from my sinking city while being chased by hungry killer whales, etc. etc. etc.

Oh. And ALSO for the record, these dreams are fun as hell! SO fun, that I've actually called in sick from work to go back to sleep and finish a dream.

Thats awsome !! I can't get away with crap like that because I still live at home with my dad and he comes into my room and drags me out of bed by my feet if I dont wake up within 5 minutes after my alarm goes off... asshole.

I remember when I was younger I read up or heard from somewhere that if you fall in your dreams and hit the ground you will have a heart attack or something and die... Idk if its true or not.. But I do know I jumped off a building in Downtown Houston and it felt so real - I still to this day remember the wind against my face and the tears being sucked from my eyes. I remember the smells, the colors, the sounds. It's like it really happened. Anyways, in this dream I fell for about 20 seconds and then hit the ground hardcore. There was blood comming from my ears, nose and eyes, and all that good crap. My dreams are like video games for some reason.. They are in first person view all the way up until I die, then its like a camera angle backs off and floats around my dead body in third person view.

When I woke from that dream I was still laying in bed, but I couldn't breathe. I jumped up and my chest was sore as a mofo and I still couldn't breathe. Then I let out this loud ass scream because I freaked and then all of a sudden the air come rushing back into my lungs after the scream and thats when my chest REALLY started to hurt. I felt as if I had fallen from that building for real... I had no visible signs of bruises, but I felt them.. Weird crap. I was like 12 or 13 when that happened...

The best dreams in the world are ... you guessed it ... Lucid Dreams!
A Lucid Dreams are when you are aware that you are actualy dreaming.
This means that nothing is real, and you know it. So basicaly you can do anything you want while you are asleap. There are no rules, no restrictions, and everything goes the way you want it.
Want to be on mars? *Poof* your there!
Want to kiss the girl of your dreams? (pun intended) *Wham* you do!
Want to have super powers? *Zoop*you can fly!

These dreams are so much fun its amazing.
Lucidity has various strengths though. Sometimes you can be like god, sometimes you are just aware you are asleap but the dream continues its normal course.
The dreams where you can control them are very rare... but very fun!

Not sure why I picked it as a name though, I guess it kinda sounds poetic somehow, and I like the Idea of being aware of the dream, and like it.

Not for me they're not. I almost ALWAYS know I'm dreaming. And if I'm not sure, what I do is force myself to punch myself in the leg and I wait to see if I feel any pain. When I don't, I realize it's a dream and I go at it.

Tonight's dream was pretty fun too! GOD I love dreaming!

some people get it more often than others.
I rarely remember my dreams, but the ones I do remember, are usualy when I am lucid.

It takes me some time to differentiate reality from dreams sometimes. I guess I'm just wierd. And I'm totally ****ing up my examinations

I wish I could dream alot more than I do. It takes some weird kind of thing happening in my life for me to dream.

And yeah, I know about lucid dreams. I've had like 2 where I could control everything. I remember in my mind flying was impossible, so I couldnt fly.. But instead, I could jump for far distances. Like in between buildings, or across a river, or jump up on top of things and jump down far distances to other things, etc etc..

I've had two dreams like that and thats it.. But in almost all my dreams there is a reality point to where I realize its a dream, and when I do everything fades quickly and I wake up.

Yeah. I have similar 'limits' in my dream. In my dreams, I can fly. But for some reason, the highest I can ever seem to go is like 8 feet above the ground. And I can't go much faster than a running person. So it's really wierd when I'm hovering 8 feet off the ground flying around inbetween, well, people pretty much! Only once did I fly really high really fast (and that's because I was superman in the dream. I was flying next to an airplane until I got bored and decided to change into spiderman).

Yeah I was about to mention stuff like that, if your very concious in your dreams you can think of ways to overcome limits in your dreams. Imagining that you have superpowers is one of the ways to overcome them, since you see so much of them on TV and stuff, your mind recognises that as possible.

You dream every night, it's just that you don't remember dreaming. You are always dreaming when you sleep. Which draws up the question - how do blind people dream, what do they see?
