Are you e-stalked your ex's page or what?

I say take one good last look and be done. Anytime you get the urge, go for walk. Get up and go to the store. Go do laundry. Make a list of things you NEED to do in your life and do those. Focus your addiction into something else, like a going to the gym. Or try another approach, get aside 5 mins a day as your FB time. Set a timer and that is it, you are done after 5 mins. If you break your own rule get a piggy bank that you can't open w/out breaking and put $1-5 in it. After awhile it will get expensive to you. Kind of a like a swear jar.
So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
    blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
    A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
    Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
    Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?

I spent a lot of time on Facebook until I got sick and tired of it. Now I'm on less than five minutes a week. Just do it until it gets old.

Or... you could just delete your account. I think they made the option of opening your account back if you decide to delete it.
To reminisce won't bring you back, just look ahead and hold on tight.

Once you post something online, it's in a database forever.

Just accept it for what it is. I go on FB all the time. My roommate keeps telling me, "You're a facebook addict!" Yeah. So? I spend most of my days on my feet, taking orders from people, and being tethered to my job. I'll use my free time how I want to. If it includes FB, so what?

Just restrict the amount of time you spend on there, or limit the number of days that you go on.

You can get an add on for your browser (if you're using firefox) called Blocksite. You basically input a URL and if you try and visit it, it blocks you. Maybe try using that?

Well you could just not get on the site?...its a revolutionary idea I know but you could just stop doing it.

Or as other have said delete it.

Get a friend to change your password and not tell you?

Or if you'd care to get elaborate you could rig your computer with a car battery and cables and a sensor that indicates when you go to the site...hook cables to your nipples and when you go to the site you get a jolt...that'd make me not go...of course thats if you'd care to get elaborate....personally I'd just stop logging on and skip the nipple burns.

That an inspired word will come across your tongue
Hands moving upward to propel the situation
    Have simply halted
    And now the conversation's done

Unfriend the most active people. Once you've got only the rare users left your motivation for posting will drop.

how to permanently delete your facebook account.

my stupid ex dragged me into a facebook breakup and I'm rather glad she did now anyway, I would have found out sooner or later she's insane.
