    Is it alright to ask?

I know close to nothing about kissing & sex related stuff, and I've always wondered how I'd react if I were expected to do any of that... specially because I don't know what you have to do.

Is it ok to ask your partner when you don't know how to do something on these "intimate" things? I've been told girls would laugh at me if I asked.

No not necessarily...I mean if you ask where her vagina is exactly located that might get a laugh....but don't be afraid to ask for direction if she isn't giving it...I mean generally you will be able to read her body language...you'll know if she is liking something and if she isn't really feeling it...if she isn't feeling it doesn't mean its wrong, just means its not working out...move on. But its also not uncommon to get direction in terms of tempo and force....but some women are hard to read and some women are really quite...if you get one then encourage them to talk.

I mean truly just go with it and don't worry about not being experienced...practice makes perfect as they say...and its not like your practicing your multiplication tables or something...I mean kissing and sex is fun...practice away.

The more I learn the more I realize I'm pretty much inept reading body language and such, so that might be a problem for me.

I think I'd be a bit lost the first time with sex, I guess that's normal though, and I suppose as you say, experience would make it easier. However I also know each girl likes different things, so it would be good to ask to some point, right?

Sex isn't really something hard to learn about thanks to the millions of ... "educative" videos online, I realize real life sex wouldn't be like porn, but you can get the basics. What bother's me the most is kissing because that's something I don't really know where to learn anything from... And starting without some basic knowledge can go awfully bad...

Kissing is gonna be awkward at first...especially if you haven't done it much. Over time, it'll get easier and better. Interestingly, when you find the right person, kissing comes super naturally and wonderful...as if evolution made it easier for us to find the right mate.

I sometimes wish I was an amoeba.

I guess I just can stay put and see how things go for now.

All women do like different things but you can take things you learned with one woman and apply it to what you have done with another woman....also you can always show them new things as well...not all women know everything about sex either....and your right, don't expect porn type sex.

As for kissing...once again practice makes perfect.

All this practice and no fun makes Jack loose his head

Seriously now, thanks for the answers, I'll try with "practice" but I'm pretty sure if I ever find myself in a situation when I'm expected to kiss or anything, I'll be blocked... gotta be strong.

I think the best thing you can do in a situation like that is ask open ended questions, like "What do you like? How do you like to be kissed? I want to make you happy." That way you don't seem awkward and she thinks you care about what turns her on.
So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
    blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
    A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
    Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
    Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?

It's not that I want her to "think" that I care about what turns her on, it's that I do. I'm not ineterested on this stuff for myself, I'm curious about sex and kissing, but I'm also kinda scared of it and I don't think I'd like it... If I do it it's to please the lady

I was always told that the only stupid questions are the ones that aren't asked. I've found that to be true most of my life. As far as sex it wouldn't hurt to actually start doing something and ask "do you like that?". You'll get a simple "yes" or "no". Act accordingly. Kissing is a bit tricky, because even if you know what she likes you may not know exactly how to do it. I was a worry wart like you when I was 17-18. I found a book called 'The Art Of Kissing' at Barnes & Noble. It was great and I used all of the different techniques and styles. Its good to go in with a couple different things to try. It was a lot of fun to actually kiss many different ways and mix it up on the fly. I guess thats one important thing to mention though, don't keep doing the same thing for a long time when kissing. It gets boring and can kill the mood.

Good point the asking "do you like that"... although I still think I'd need a bit more than that, at least if the girl didn't "help".

About the book, can you actually learn from a book? I mean, I have no experience at all, zero, haven't kissed anyone not even my family since I have memory.
And doesn't sex get boring if you always do the same thing too? Everything does, most probably...

Kissing takes practice, but there ARE universal rules.

Bad breath is a deal breaker. Don't be the boy with bad breath. Trust me on this.
Too much saliva in your mouth when you kiss is disgusting. No one wants to be drooled on.
Use the tongue, but use it semi-sparingly and don't stick it so deep in her mouth that she is in danger of choking.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

i say get to practice with older women.
The male is a domestic animal which, if treated with firmness, can be trained to do most things

Yeah, I've heard those rules except the tongue thing, and they make much sense. I find the tongue part very... mysterious, I mean "using it", I don't have a clue what people do with it.

haha I wish, for some reason most of the women I've thought looked good were about 5 years older than me... that might be the age range when they are already "blossomed" I guess.
