Yeah, I'm not fond of interfaces with too many things in them... Although it's not a big deal, since I rarely use the forum frontpage anymore... the "new posts" link is too useful xD

I like that you're changing it up LA, but to be honest a sidebar with recent posts doesn't really do much for me, especially since you can see all the recent posts by clicking on "What's New" at the top.

What I have seen on some forums is a "Shoutbox" on the side, where you can just shout out things to members quickly. I think that could be fun.

If you click the "arrow" on the right of the box it hides, and "forever", it seems.

Yea I'm not really diggin it...I can already see where the new posts are and it is just to much on the front page for me...I'd rather just see the menu take up the front page and that be it.
