Here are some poems my boyfriend wrote when he was single, but after he met me he never wrote poems again... unfortunately. So, he tells me he wrote these when he was 14, so sweet.

I Know, by Phil

Your eyes are like diamonds, as precious as could be.
A simple glimpse of them, sends shivers right through me.
Never have I seen such eyes whose beauty they portray.
I know that it's your eyes that I could stare at night and day.

Your smile is like the sunset, a crimson ecstasy.
And when I see you smile, I feel your melody.
Never have I seen such a smile that so penetrates my soul.
I know that when you smile it is then that I feel whole.

Your kiss is like an angel, sent to me from above.
And everytime we kiss, again I fall in love.
Never have I felt such kisses that are simply so divine.
I know each day I cannot wait for your lips to touch mine.

Your heart is like a river, overflowing with your kindness.
And whenever I am with you, I am overcome with bliss.
Never have I known a heart whose love has set me free.
I know that it's your heart that is most beautiful to me.

I looked for you behind the tree
Your elegant beauty I could not see.
I fell on my knees onto the ground
Yet I could not stop until you were found.

I looked for you over the hills
The thought of your presence gave me the chills.
Yet no trace of you at all was there
My heart started to be filled with despair.

I looked for you across the sea
You were not there; it cannot be.
You were nowhere I had sought to seek
The lack of you had made me weak.

Yet when my eyes had stopped to find
It was then I realised the truth so blind.

Good Enough, by Phil

I see you in the distance and my heart it starts to beat,
And I get a queasy feeling right down into my feet.
You smile and laugh and flick your hair as though you're from above,
It makes me feel so good, yet sad, as I know that I'm in love.

Whenever I am lonely it is you I want to see,
But could someone so lovely love a person such as me?
No one on this planet is as beautiful as you,
And no one else can invoke a love from me that is so true.

If I told you that I loved you would you be filled with disgust?
Would you think that I was crazy and simply full of lust?
Am I good enough to be with you although you are so nice?
Should I listen to my hearts content or my minds advice?

Whenever I am with you I feel like such a troll,
All that you are and mean to me goes deep into my soul.
Forever will my love endure into the mists of time,
As my heart beats and dances to the sound of chime.
