Would you like it if your he wanted to help you pick a dress for a romantic night out

Let's say that he was planning a romantic night out. He wants this night to be very special, so he wants to help you pick out a dress for it. Would that be okay, or would it feel weird?

It would make me think, that he didn't like my current wardrobe of outfits/didn't share my taste in clothing.

Seriously, no it wouldn't bother me if he wanted to help me choose. I'm sure he would help pick something that he knew I'd look good in, so why not.

    Is he paying too?....

help me pick a dress I already own or a new one? If youre going with a new one then make it a surprise. Bring her to the mall or wherever and when you get to the appropriate aisle say "were going somewhere special and you deserve a new dress, my treat ^_^ one condition, Im helping choose.." Then she'd be like "yay!" I cant speak for everyone but I definitely love shopping, especially when Im not paying ;P

My bf helps my pick out clothes when I ask, especially shoes. I appreciate the mans perspective.
