    Searing Adoration

    A quiet soul affected
    By a burning noise
    A searing adoration
    Decimates the morn

    In a shattered wake
    A shaking beast is born
    Eyes yet to be opened
    To the abrasive sun



    Inspired by Emily Dickinson's poetry form, where it all rhymes until an abrupt ending line.
