does anyone know any particular allergy that causes itchy arms?

I must be certainly getting old. Never had heyfever till a few years back, which now becomes part of me and my life.

It's been about a week now that I have this intense itchy arms. Just lower part of both arms. I even work up last night, feeling so itchy and scratching them. I don't know if this is serious enough to go and check them out.

It's just lower arms. Nowhere else. If this is an allergic reaction, shouldn't I experience this all over the body?

I live with stress. It takes a lot for me to adversly react to any sort of stress really.

I've moved to a new place - it's been about a month. Cleaned top to bottom. I am a bit obssessed about cleaning so hired a cleaner. Even then, the standard wasn't up to my expectations so I've cleaned all over again.

I went to pharmacy yesterday to ask the same question. He asked me if there were pets before I moved in. I don't know really but there seems to be some trace of cats in the balcony. You know, stuff for cats. So it appears to be so. Though I am not sure if I am reacting to that.

Haven't changed laundry detergents or a soap or perfume though.

The first time I had this was, I think, when I had some beer and some chinese food stuff that I bought from supermarket. Other than that, I don't remember anything different from eveyday I eat or do....

I don't know for sure without knowing the active ingredients. You can ask any pharmacist, though.
