rollercoaster ride: Please help! I can't get off

After countless times of breaking up because there is no ring, she breaks up again last night after crying at my doorstep a few mornings ago promising that she will not let her mother interfere again. I always take her back. We have been dating since last year at this time but is angry that she did not get a ring at Christmas. I am hesitant about marriage with her because of her continuous breakups and anger over no engagement. She seems desperate and that concerns me. She even dated a couple other guys a few months ago because she was tired of waiting. Her daughter is staying the summer with her grandparents and I have a hunch they are brainwashing her to pressure her own mother to break it off with me. I have a lot to lose if the marriage with her does not work and she would have a lot to gain. This has cause unending grief. Please help.

she's messing you around and you've underlined all the problems why you shouldn't marry her. honestly, find someone who doesnt badger you to ask the question that is the most important in your life. i wouldnt waste it on her.
