Is Plan B bad for you?

My girlfriend and I are 20 and 19, and have sex about once every couple months. When we do, we do it unprotected because we like using Plan B. Is using this bad for her body if we keep using it once every 2 months?

Have her talk to an obgyn or a doctor about that. Then, go to Planned Parenthood and get her on birth control.
It's an emergency contraceptive, and by the time you've shelled out $50 for that ONE PILL, you could have gotten a whole wheel to protect you for that one month.

Plan B is bad for you. Before they give it to you they ask "Have you taken Plan B in your lifetime before?" You're only suppose to use that sh*t once or twice in your LIFETIME.

I took it once and it f*cked up my body for a month. I didn't have my period on time and then when it came I had an abnormally heavy flow for TWO WEEKS STRAIGHT. It was horrible. I called the Dr. thinking something was terribly wrong with me. She said it was a normal after effect of taking Plan B. Honestly I'm glad it's out there for emergencies but I'm going to be more careful and I'm never going to do that to my body again if I can help it.

If you love your girlfriend and value her health, wrap your penis up or have her take the pill or get the shot. There are health risks to both the pill and the shot but at least they don't warn you against taking those more than once or twice in your lifetime.

Also, the Depo shot is 1 shot given every three months. She would actually take that less than she would take Plan B on you current regiment.

You should seriously consider it.
