Do women like Strong, Assertive, leader type men?

I think women like a man with a plan. Who knows what he wants and where he's going. For being strong enough to open pickle jars/jam jars/whatever jars tickle your fancy. And to be assertive when things go pete-tong, or when authority is needed.

But of course there are women who don't need a man like that around. Women who are independant, strong enough to open their own jars, and stand their own ground and plan their own life.

BUT what sort of women wants to be with a lazy, soft, weak man who doesn't know where his life is going(this is different from his life being unexpected, if there's absolutely no stability then his life is out of control)? At the very least, he should have guts and strength to admit he might not be in the job he wants, or he might not be able to provide enough for that new house they wanted in 5 years time. But generally a guy should be clued into some of those traits. Otherwise, it's like being with an immature guy.

I guess the same could be said about women. Do all guys want a sensual, caring, charming woman?-or whatever basic attractive qualities guys want in any woman-

In my opinion, I find those qualities in a man sexy. But I don't like too much of them. I don't like men being too bossy, but I like to playfully argue with them-which is often hard with some guys, I guess they don't argue for the sake of it-. I can be passive about a lot of things, so it feels like a balance if there's someone around who isn't like me, and is taking charge and being the leader. I also hate when a guy is too set in his ways, and wants everything to be his way. But I think I'd be more disappointed if there was a guy who let me get my way all the time, and agreed with everything, and didn't stand up for the right things. Especially if they were just as confused as me about things. God, it would feel like dating myself!

Confidence is always sexy in a guy, and I guess those traits are each a kind of a confidence indicator.
