Depends...are you one of those "No babe I can't have sex now because I'm on a quest with my friends" type geeks, or a "Oh you're computer won't work? Here let me fix that right up" type geeks?

I have a feeling this thread is going to be epic.
This is the second thread I've seen that has gone completely off topic after you've posted in it.

lol just as I'm posting on this thread there's an ad for *dating for Geeks only* and a pic of a girl with a tatoo of the Zelda hearts on her shoulder! hahahah......anyways...

I think the stereotype of geeks makes people (girls and guys) think that girls won't fall for *geeks* and also that a geeky girl won't be attractive to guys(imagine an Ugly Betty type thing, or Josie in Never Been Kissed.....you get the idea).

Most stereotypes(most-not all) are exaggerated, especially since not all geeks need glasses or wear wooly tank tops over shirts, etc, but I think it's a silly assumption on such a large group of people. In fact, people who are *geeky* will appeal to other geeks, and probably *other type people* who are clued up on what they are into(some are geeks on computers, or computer games, or books, or maths, or science, who knows!). For someone else, they may prefer the more shy geeks to the ones who like to show off more. It's wonderful how varied and unique people can really be, even when there's labels like *geek* floating around, because most of the time the labels don't matter and it's all the factors in a particular person that does matter. Too many factors to list.

Geeks can be attractive to girls.

No. There's definitely some truth to the issue.

Fact is, the dumber you are the more likely you are to get laid. Partly because stupid people are in abundance by default and opposites most definitely do not attract. So you've got a bunch of idiots breeding like mindless bunny rabbits. Meanwhile, the smart geeky guy who has interests which extend beyond what celebrities and television TELL him are his interests can't hardly find a chick to talk to. I mean, if you actually read and think for yourself, what the hell DO you talk about? When most people can only comment on what the news anchor told them or what was on Idol last night, how can you possibly hope to carry an interesting conversation that leads to something more?

Unless you come to terms with the fact that it's all a game and you determine to play it with gusto--like a card-counting Black Jack demon who knows the game inside out and is willing to exploit it for his own benefit. Most people are stupid. Ergo most women are stupid. Some women are hot. Not many are hot and smart. If you're intelligent you ought to be able to lure one of those hot dumbasses into spreading her legs. Whisper a few cliches into her ear, watch a few idiot shows, carry on an intentionally insipid conversation.

If your goals are to get laid, it ain't so hard once you overcome your fears. If you want something meaningful your best bet is to get a lobotomy and live in blissful ignorance. Good luck finding an intelligent, attractive woman who's available.

God, so atrocious in the Old Testament, so attractive in the New--the Jekyl and Hyde of sacred romance.

Asking if girls like geeks is like asking if girls like engineers, or office workers, or farmers, or people who like action movies. Can the question be any more broad?
    Don't cry, don't regret and don't blame
Weak find the whip, willing find freedom
Towards the sun, carry your name
In warm hands you are given
Ask the wind for the way
Uncertainty's gone, your path will unravel
Accept all as it is and do not blame
