Living in Florida has done me little in the way of good, especially with this fun onset of acne and infections I've accrued.

This all began 3 months ago when I had a UTI, and was given a fun antibiotic (I forget the name but I had to take 4 at once) that made me ill, and loopy as hell.

Now, because of a bacterial infection (ew) I've been prescribed Metronidazole. I've taken ONE PILL so far, and already I've experienced just about every one of the laundry-list side effects noted in the pamphlet. Couple that with the fact for some reason on the period I get anemic (family trait), and I'm already loopy as hell.

Has anyone experienced this?
Anything I can do to curb it?

For 2.5 weeks out of the month I'm a perfectly rational human being, but as soon as PMS hits, or I'm taking some kind of heavy duty meds I become utterly irrational, either sleep a ton or not at all, and cry. Or imagine things. For no reason.
I'm kind of having trouble writing this because my thoughts are sort of...droopy. But anyone who can math this out better than me and advice me on what, if anything, I can do to keep myself a LITTLE more in check would be righteous.

In the hospital, we treat the symptoms separately, such as with anti-diarrheal or anti-nausea medications. You should ask your pharmacist what you can take.
