First impressions can be strong, but you probably have some additional time after that to avoid the Friend Zone. Depends on you, the woman, and the circumstances.

It's not about the time, it's about frequency of contact, and whether or not you allow it to drift into "friendly" tones. There are women I've known for years that I'm not in the friend zone with.

When she starts coming to you with questions about other guys; that's a strong sign you're almost there. For instance if she says things like "I met this great guy last week at a party! Do you think I should ask him out?"...you're in trouble. Originally Posted by EndlessRomantic

I know and immediatley and if a guy will go in the friendzone....
It doesn't take long and to figure if there is a physical attraction. He's either my type physically, or he aint....and I can determine that on first sighting.
Sometimes, there has been a guy I'm not sure of.....whether I see him as more or as just a friend.
