Have you ever liked a guy or even loved a guy but felt it just wasn't the right time to be with him? Like, you knew you'd probably end up together some day, but you felt like you should date other people first?

And, consequently, did you ever wind up falling for your best friend ever so many years?

I dunno if I believe in the "meant to be together" scenario. I know that my boyfriend and I love each other very much, but he's moving to NYC and I'm staying in San Diego. It's sad, and we love each other, but things just can't work right now with the distance. Maybe we're meant to be together. We shall see.

And no, I don't think I'd ever fall for my best friend. So many years of friendship would probably kill any romantic feelings for me.

i think if i fall for someone i fall for them - then and there - whereas if i was willing to see someone else first it probably meant i wasnt that into them x

No, I've never fallen for a best friend. If I see him as a friend, he's destined to be a friend for life.

And when I fall for someone, I fall for them there and then....not months or years later.
