And in spite of the things I've said you can see I have no problem with women who are heavy. She's a bit of a big girl but I loved her just the same. I just wish I had known that, at the time that picture was taken (her bridal shower) she was already cheating on me with the paralegal.

So you make, what, like $1200 a month after taxes? Your rent is $500 per month, and you spend $200 on gas to commute. That leaves you with $500 left over.

Oh shit, wait a sec. Your rent is now $250 per month. So that leaves you with $750.

What do you do with that? You don't buy food. You don't put money into savings. You do buy cigaretts and lottery tickets, though. What portion of your income goes to that? What are you doing with the rest of your money?

Generally, you're supposed to spend 1/3 of your income on rent (or is it 1/4?). Let's say it's a third. So you could spend $360 per month on rent. If the minimum rent on a decent-ish apartment is 700, you could swing it if you found a roommate and split everything down the middle. It might be difficult, much more difficult than staying in the basement and eating all your meals in your parents' kitchen, but it could be doable. You eat ramen and rough it for a while.

I mean, it's something to shoot for. Right now, you're just going, "This isn't faaiiiir, why meeeee, women are gold-digging whores (unless they're ugly.)"

And instead of sitting around every evening bullshitting your time away, you could get another job since you need the income. Your attitude that working hard is for suckers is holding you back and it's a shitty attitude to have, especially for someone in your position. People work their asses off to get what they have. It's the way things work, whether you like it or not. You've made some bad decisions to get you where you are. You have to take responsibility for that. It's not unfair that you have a low-paying job after flunking out of college. It's not unfair that women don't find you a suitable mate when you yourself admit that you're a big mess. You are responsible for that.

You can change things, but you have to fix your shitty way of thinking.
