Poem for our four month anniversary :)

I got this poem today from my boyfriend and just had to show someone
Trials that have tested us,
Interventions and lies,
Tearing at the seams of our lives,
A beginning not wished for.

Such pain and suffering,
We weather these scars,
The price to see each other,
I gladly pay.

For it was not for naught,
But love I fought,
And continue to fight,
That I might have a moment by your side.

To feel your touch,
To caress your face,
To kiss your lips and taste you.

Your beautiful smile,
Your deep and penetrating eyes,
Everything subsides in me,
I can only feel wanting for you.

When I see you smile at me,
A rush of heat runs through me,
You set my heart on fire,
My veins run rich with want,

To hold you,
To cuddle you,
A passionate embrace,
You are my love,
I love you.
