Are fetishes normal? Can they be fixed?

I have had a fetish for being dominated/humiliated by women and sploshing/WAM. I know some people have fetishes for different things and some of them are a little more mainstream. I feel weird and guilty whenever I masturbate thinking of fetishy things or look at that kind of porn or want to take part in something like that. It's nothing illegal and nothing that hurts anyone else, but it's not the most mainstream thing around. Are fetishes like this normal? Where do you draw the line at being normal or abnormal? Should I go to a psychiatrist or something to get this fixed? Can it even be fixed?

I think fetishes are a lot more common that folks care to admit.

We all have our kinks. Some of us are ashamed of them and keep them locked up. But believe you me, whether it's the wino on the corner or Ward Cleaver, we're sexual creatures and we all have our desires.

There's nothing wrong with having a fetish. Especially not one as harmless as yours. Admittedly I had to look up what sploshing/WAM means, but there's nothing wrong with that. It's not my thing (honestly, it's just too sticky for me.. ) but it's not harming anyone and it could be fun. Also I think it's a fetish that even non-fetish lovers would be willing to try.. you like particular foods or something else? The domination thing is something fewer persons would try, but also a thing more people are into, if that makes any sense. But again, nothing to be ashamed of. And answer me, why on earth would you want to love things more mainstream? There's enough of that going around.

Just be yourself, it's not something that can be helped, and do you really want to try and repress such a part of yourself? Therapists would sooner get you to accept yourself than work on getting these festishes out of your mind. Have fun with them.

LOL you know whats funny. i find that men feel more guilty about masturbating than women do. this is strange. i watch all kinds of demented shit online and feel no shame getting off on it
as far as i know, no one's watching you! (unless you're religions)

I had to look up sploshing, too. What an odd name for food-play.

Those are really pretty domestic kinks. Not sure you'd even get much of a reaction out of even a hardcore Christian mother with those. (Okay, so maybe we all know those are the kinkiest of all but you know what I mean.)

Considering things like rape fantasies, extremely rough sex, anal play for woman or man, extreme bondage, extreme domination, and such are all pretty mainstream these days.. I think you should relax.

Very harmless kinks you have, nothing to be ashamed of.

And I've only felt guilty a couple times after masturbating and the feeling quickly subsided.

    You have a fetish, huh?

People stay away from me when I talk about mine.

Don't let that discourage you though.
