moving in together

my guy and i have been together about two years and we're moving in together in february. i'm scared and excited. any advice? tips? thanks in advance. misom.

IMHO, I moved in with my girlfriend after two years and it was a mistake. We could hardly handle it, and we got lazy with the relationship. We didn't feel special anymore, and we got on each other's nerves too much.

I know a lot of people get excited about it. You get to wake up together, eat together, share so much together, all the time. But you get used to it, and the thrill dies off.

It probably depends a lto on how well you guys know each other and how well you can take adversity.

You could supplement that excitement by going to a hotel together for a night or two every now and then.

(I know, it probably makes more sense financially, and it is exciting, but don't let that make you think things are going to be awesome from here on in. It just takes sooo much work)
