How do I know if he really likes me?

Ok. I dated this guy when i was 14 ((Im now 21)) We only dated for a summer
n then I broke up with him the first day of school.(stupid reason) But ever
since the day we broke up I been trying to get ahold of him to tell him i
made a mistake.. Its been 7 years now. A couple months ago I added him on
facebook and he just recently started talking to me. (I havent talked to
him since we broke up, he would never talk to me after that, until now).
Anyway, he says he likes me but he says he just dont want a relationship
right now. (he did just get out of a relationship 10 months ago with his
babys mom). My husband and I also just recently split up, so were kinda in
the same field. But this is the thing. When we first started talking he was
texting me all day everyday, Now he just talks when i say something, and
its just like one word. He just acts like he wants me to stop texting him,
but i've asked him and he says I like talking to you. All of his answers
are like weird n its never a straight answer. I just want to know why guys
act all strange like this, he says he likes me but he dont act like he
does.. i'm starting to feel really stupid.

You're either texting too much or he isn't interested in talking to you. Stop texting him and see what happens. When i'm interested in a girl I will make sure to keep up on my part with the conversation. Maybe this guy is different, but then, would you really want to be involved with someone who only gives a yes or no answer?
