Why would a person ever have to choose? I love my friends as much as I love any romantic interest. I am friends with any guy I get into a serious relationship with. I would think we could just fill our lives with as much love AND friendship as possible, rather than choosing between them?

It's so easy to tell the women's responses. Sorry!
The difference with guys is that we often want to have sex with our female friends. Not trying to be creepy, but I think that's where a lot problems come in. You girls have the amazing ability to separate love and sex, I think it's harder for younger guys to do this, and we often mistake being IN LOVE with our female friends with really just LOVING our female friends and also wanting to have sex with them from time to time minus the whole "in a relationship" thing.
